After her marimba moment, we rounded out Arynn’s senior session with photos throughout downtown Clear Lake and along the water.. From music in the garden to playing around with structures downtown, this session perfectly captured who Arynn is in this season of life. Senior photos should never feel generic, and Arynn’s Clear Lake senior session is proof that leaning into your passions is what makes your photos truly unforgettable.

The Story
Arynn’s senior session in Clear Lake, Iowa was one of those sessions that reminds me why I love saying yes to unique ideas. When her mom first reached out and asked if we could incorporate Arynn’s marimba into her senior photos, I’ll be honest, I had no idea what a marimba was and had to do a quick Google search. Turns out, it might be one of the coolest sounding instruments on the planet. Trust me on this and definitely check out the video below. We brought her marimba to a local garden in Clear Lake and Arynn ended up giving an impromptu mini concert.
